Sophie Turner is getting back to work.
The Game of Thrones alum was recently spotted on the set of her upcoming ITVX drama series, Joan, in which she plays infamous jewel thief Joan Hannington. In the pics, Turner has undergone a physical transformation to get into character: She wears a platinum blonde bob wig with the ends curled in, a black tank top with a scooped low back, and a massive fake back tattoo. The sighting marks the first time Turner has been seen since her husband, Joe Jonas, filed for divorce on September 5. In public records obtained by CNN, Jonas said that the marriage was “irretrievably broken.”
A day later, the former couple confirmed the split in a joint statement on social media.
“After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage,” the message read. “There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”
Turner and Jonas share two children: a three-year-old daughter named Willa and a second daughter they welcomed in July 2022.
A source close to Turner and Jonas told People they plan on maintaining a “collaborative” relationship as they continue to navigate their divorce.
“People are trying to be negative towards both of them, but they are trying to keep things as positive as possible knowing there's always a lot of tension in a divorce,” the insider said. “They’re two incredibly scrutinized people. This is incredibly stressful for them, but everything between them has been very collaborative.”
