Met Gala Donors are "Insulted" that Celebs Smoked in the Bathrooms

Board Members and donors to the Met Gala are not happy that guests were smoking in the bathroom during the event, Page Six reports.

An anonymous source told the site: "As a donor to the Met, I was so insulted to see all these ‘celebrities’ smoking and taking selfies of themselves in the bathroom. Mostly, it’s disrespectful to the art collection which needs to be kept 100 percent smoke-free. I would honestly like to see these people fined by the city."

The morning after the event, photos surfaced on social media showing A-listers like Bella Hadid, Dakota Johnson, Rita Ora, Ashley Graham and more gathered in the bathroom, snapping pictures and lighting up cigarettes.

But the mini party wasn't fun for everyone. Another insider was "horrified" to find guests—like Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Paris Jackson, and P. Diddy—"messing around" in the restroom, smoking and taking selfies, like this one:

A board member even "stormed right out and complained right away," the source added. "It is so disrespectful to the museum."

As if we needed another reason that smoking isn't that cool, especially indoors—at the Met.
